Experience Schemes Quartet with special guest Casper Hejlesen in an intense and intimate jazz concert at Resonans in Aarhus. The group's music balances between carefully crafted modern compositions and free improvised passages, creating a contrasting and unconventional expression. Intricate melodies, rhythmic freedom, and strong ensemble playing flow together in an energetic and atmospheric performance.
The inspiration comes from jazz communities in Berlin, New York, and Scandinavia, as well as from musicians such as Keith Jarrett, Petter Eldh, Hanna Paulsberg, and Immanuel Wilkins. Schemes Quartet has over 50 concerts on its resume and has performed at prominent Norwegian festivals including Molde Jazz and Oslo Jazzfestival. Their debut album Embrace was released on Jazzland Recordings in 2024, and after a Norwegian tour, the group recorded material for their second album in September 2025.
