Intermediate Swimming is the third level in the swimming school and is directed at children aged 6-9 years. Here, swimmers are introduced to the four fundamental swimming skills: flotation transitions, breathing, balance and movement. Children learn to move through water using various patterns, adapt their breathing and exhale underwater, enabling them to swim longer distances in a coordinated manner.
In addition, children receive instruction in jumping into the water, diving and moving safely in deep water. Training takes place at Sølystskolen and is arranged by HEI Svømning.
