LitteraTHURSDAY is an event for literature enthusiasts, where this time the focus is on poetry and creative writing. You are invited to bring your own favourite poem and share it with the group, or simply enjoy the examples presented by the literature facilitator.
The highlight is a practical introduction to blackout poetry – a simple and rewarding technique where you create your own graphic poems by removing words from an existing book page. It requires no artistic skills, and everyone can create something beautiful and unique regardless of experience.
The event takes place at Hasle Library. Registration is via a free ticket so the organisers know how many are coming.
