Little North presents its international format and has established itself as an independent and curious voice on the European jazz scene. The trio functions as a collective where all members contribute as composers, and the music emerges from the interplay between curiosity and play.
With the forthcoming album Crossing Currents, the band opens a new musical chapter. The recordings were created through collaboration with international musicians and move fluidly between Nordic sound, poetic precision, and impulses from New York's contemporary jazz scene.
International collaboration
The trio is joined on stage by Dutch guitarist Reinier Baas and Swedish saxophonist Hannes Bennich. Together they create a contemporary and energetic musical language where different styles meet and new expressions flourish. The audience experiences a unique concert that cannot be replicated on the album.
