Step behind the scenes when Danish metal band BAEST shares the stories behind their album "Necro Sapiens". On 24 November, band members visit Radar to guide you through the work from beginning to end – from the massive chords in "Genesis" to the rapid-fire intensity in "Meathook Massacre".
BAEST cemented their international reputation with "Necro Sapiens", an album that combines massive thematic verses with quieter moments. Throughout the evening you hear all the songs, and the band members themselves explain the inspiration, riffs and musical choices behind each composition.
The concept creates intimacy and immersion – you sit down, listen to a full album and dive into the stories at the same time. The event is informal and cosy, and Badstuerock provides record crates with music from Aarhus. You also gain insight into the latest musical developments flourishing in the city right now. The event is part of AARHUS ECHO's exploration of the Aarhus music scene.
