Malling Mountain Boys is a local amateur band that has rehearsed bluegrass and country music every Wednesday for years. Through extensive practice, the band has built an impressive repertoire of traditional American folk music and country classics from artists such as Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, Johnny Cash and SteelDrivers.
At this concert at Malling Bio, the band will present both their highly anticipated originals – all inspired by the local area and translated into authentic bluegrass style. The songs include "Giber Creek" (Giber å), "Malling Mountain Moonshine", "The Easy Train" (Letbanen), "Sister Hill" (Søsterhøj), "The High Mountain Killer" (Højbjerg-morderen), "Otter Road" (Oddervej) and "Rude Beach" (Rude strand). As a special feature, the band will also debut their brand new song dedicated to Malling Bio itself: "The Malling Picture Show".
