ALTER presents an evening of adventurous music at PHONO before the festival hibernates until 2027. Meet three musicians who each work at the forefront of experimental music and electroacoustic expression.
ML Buch is a Copenhagen-based composer, producer, guitarist and vocalist. She has made a mark with the album Skinned (2020) and the ambitious double album Suntub (2023). Her sound combines 7-string electric guitars in open tunings with synthesizers and electronic experimentation.
Jules Reidy works with song cycles and electroacoustic composition, creating music that explores devotion, transcendence and dissolution. Their practice seeks to evoke states of uncanniness, dissociation and imagination.
Harry Gorski-Brown is a Scottish artist working in electronic music and audiovisual performance. He is involved in several projects, including NOISE POCKET – an experimental blend of rap and pop – and the audiovisual work Elephant, you shake your sheep! featuring bagpipes, electronics and audio synthesis.
