Spend a day meeting volunteer soldiers from the Home Guard in Eastern Jutland and learning about their work and responsibilities. Visit stands, view uniforms, weapons and equipment, and ask questions to the people behind the uniform.
The program is diverse with lectures, workshops and entertainment throughout the day — including meetings with TV personalities Rasmus Kragh and Niels and Bente from "Alone in the Wild", stories from former PET chief Frank Jensen, and discussions on emergency preparedness and crisis management. A highlight is a preview screening of "When Everything Goes Dark" with a subsequent talk. For children and families, there are escape rooms (from age 13), bead workshops and a live show.
The event is free for everyone and is part of DR's national initiative "Together on Preparedness".
