Philosophy lecturer Morten Dige from Aarhus University presents his new book "Når freden står for skud" (When Peace Is Put to the Test), exploring pacifism and the major ethical questions surrounding war and peace. He poses important questions: Is it morally justified to go to war? And can we find realistic alternatives to military power?
The lecture explores fundamental ethical and political dilemmas around war, peace, pacifism, and the right to self-defense.
Arranged in collaboration between the UN Association, Aldrig Mere Krig (Never Again War), and Århus Mod Krig og Terror (Aarhus Against War and Terror).
