When the Wind Turns is new Danish drama and an intense family play about three generations of men trying to understand each other and the time they live in. Jens has invited his son Henrik and his grandson Victor to the annual wood-splitting day, but the tradition takes a different turn when it turns out that Jens has cut down all the trees on his property. The performance explores generational divides, masculinity in transition, silence, shame, love, and the patterns passed down through families.
