Kick off 2027 with a bang when Rådne Lunger and Slæng's take over HeadQuarters for a New Year's concert. Two Danish rock bands meet on stage for an evening of high energy, fuzz, and sharp edges.
Rådne Lunger delivers the rawest Detroit punk mixed with early hardcore – intense riff rock with sonic excursions from psychopharmacology to life's darker sides. Their 2021 debut album was hailed as "hard and boundary-pushing" with "catchy punk bangers from another world". Second album Motorsnav followed in February with the strangely appealing glam single Nøgen for at være Nøgen.
Slæng's make their return after a hiatus – bringing the same burning energy as when they formed in Frederikshavn in 1982. The new lineup retains two original members and is bolstered by fresh talent on bass and drums, playing dark new-wave with tracks like Kold vold, Plotter, Jeg har ret, and Banal Sang – ranging from sex and violence to mental breakdown and absurd satire.
