Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and Aarhus Symphonic Organ Festival join forces for a concert with the Klais organ in Symfonisk Sal at the center. Soloist Thomas Ospital performs two major works for organ and orchestra: Francis Poulenc’s Concerto for organ, strings and timpani and Joseph Jongen’s Symphonie Concertante for organ and orchestra. The program also includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 39, one of the composer’s final symphonies.
Thomas Ospital appears as organ soloist, and the concert is conducted by Tania Miller. Thomas Ospital is a French organist known as an international concert soloist. Admission: 100-395 kr. Venue: Musikhuset Aarhus.
