Ponny is a Danish trio delivering explosive and catchy punk/rock with musical freedom. The band blends Riot grrrl, teenage pop and anti-folk with both humour and seriousness.
Laura, Anna and Asta celebrate the spontaneous and the raucous without apology. Their lyrics explore idiots, bad sex and wildness, delivered through screeching guitar, fast bass and drums. Ponny is unbridled energy, versatile vocals and pointed attitudes – engaging music for those who love authentic, unpolished and thought-provoking rock.
