This joint concert brings together all the orchestra's instrumental sections on stage. You will experience all the different timbres that strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion contribute – all in a single evening.
The concert concludes the RAMA CLASSIC mini-festival, which presents the classical symphony orchestra divided according to its natural instrumental groups. The music is performed by students from the Jutland Music Conservatory under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Each concert is introduced by one of the conservatory's permanent faculty members, who are themselves seasoned orchestral musicians.
While typical symphonic concerts can make it difficult to hear individual instruments clearly, RAMA CLASSIC concerts offer the audience a chance to hear the sections up close and distinctly. For the students, working in these smaller groups strengthens their ability to listen to one another and blend the instruments together sonically.
