Learn to work with a Riso printer – an iconic printer from the 1980s with fantastic neon colors. This hands-on workshop focuses on completely analog creativity without a computer. Throughout the day, you explore techniques such as collage, stencil printing, drawing, and much more, and together you create works that you print communally in the workshop.
What you end up producing changes each time, but could for example be zines, postcards, posters, simple calendars, or other works based on the group's ideas and wishes. The workshop also includes an introduction to how the Riso printer can be used digitally, as well as practical information about ordering professional Riso prints at Ungdomskulturhuset. For the workshop itself, you cannot print your own works – the focus is on shared creative experimentation.
You do not need to bring any materials, other than snacks and dinner for yourself. If you like, you are welcome to bring some collage materials.
