The popular podcast ROCKHISTORIER with Henrik Queitsch and Klaus Lynggaard is recorded live at ARoS in connection with the exhibition ULYDIG - The Body in Punk. The two hosts were themselves active during the punk wave in Copenhagen in the late 1970s and early 1980s, where they participated in concert life, invested their meager budget in records and beer, and filled street corners with friends as part of the era's countercultural spirit. Since then they have grown up and their time as punkers in Copenhagen is over, but they bring the music and spirit of the period into the art context when they visit ARoS on 19 November.
During the event, they tell vivid stories about punk as a cultural phenomenon and play music from some of the period's most important punk albums and singles. The playlist includes classics from artists such as Sex Pistols, The Clash, Ramones, Joy Division, Dead Kennedys and many more, including "God Save the Queen", "White Riot", Junkyard and Closer.
