Join a relaxed afternoon at the workshop where you explore screen printing (also known as silk screen printing) through hands-on experimentation and practice. This analog printing technique lets you use a frame and paint to transfer your own designs onto paper or textiles – perfect for making posters, artworks, or prints on clothing.
The workshop focuses on exploring different methods for creating designs and printing small works on both paper and fabric. Everyone is welcome, whether you're experienced or completely new to screen printing. You'll also receive a brief tour of the Youth Culture House and learn about its facilities and communities.
Wear clothes that can get a bit of paint on them – aprons are available to borrow at the workshop.
