Learn the classic sand casting technique on this introductory course, where you create an impression of a model in sand and cast a piece of jewelry in silver or bronze. During the course, the instructor will guide you through the entire process: you will create your own slip mold in sand, melt silver, and cast a ring or pendant of your choice. Afterwards, you will be introduced to the tools needed to polish and refine your cast into a finished piece of jewelry, and you will have the opportunity to continue working on it in the studio.
Throughout the course, you will receive personal guidance for your project. After completing the course, you can gain access to the Jewelry Studio and continue working with the techniques you have learned.
Practical info: Course fee: DKK 1050. There will be an additional cost for materials (silver or bronze), which will be charged according to the studio's daily rates. Teaching is conducted exclusively in Danish and therefore requires Danish language understanding for safety reasons.
