Speed Dating is a lively and fun dating concept where you meet multiple singles in a short time. A host will welcome you with information materials and practical details, and you'll have time to mingle with other participants of your gender before the programme begins.
During the event, you rotate through up to 12 dating rounds with people from the opposite gender — each conversation lasts between 7 and 10 minutes. There are two built-in breaks to give you a chance to relax and chat informally. After 12 rounds, if not everyone has met all participants, there is an optional extra round where participants can arrange to chat further with the person or people they choose.
Throughout the event, you fill out a match sheet marking those you'd like to hear from again. 1-2 days after the event, you'll receive an email with your matches — meaning the people who also marked "Yes" for you. That email includes their name, first name and phone number, so you can arrange a second date if you wish.
If the event is fully booked, you can join a waiting list and receive notification if tickets become available. SingleNordic continuously adds tickets to ensure a good gender balance among participants. You can also sign up for the Event List to receive notice of upcoming single events in your area.
Important terms
- You must be between 23 and 35 years old — age will be verified at entry.
- You may not bring your own food or beverages.
- If you sell or pass your ticket to someone else, the recipient must be of the same gender and age group as the original buyer.
