Superfan (US)

Superfan is the artist name of Kali Priya Flanagan, a Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer working between experimental music and the singer-songwriter tradition. He began studying music at age four, started writing songs at age eleven, and signed his first record deal at age fourteen while developing his sound across piano, drums, bass, upright, and violin.

Now 21, Flanagan has just signed with the London-based label AD93 (Joanne Robertson, YHWH Nailgun, Dagmar Zuniga) and is preparing to release his second album, My Piledriver Heart. As Superfan, he has opened for The Strokes at Red Rocks Amphitheatre by direct invitation from Julian Casablancas, and has also performed with names including Quiet Light, Knifeplay, Kath Bloom, Horsegirl, Userband, Samba Jean-Baptiste, Zoh Amba, PARKiNG, Brittle Brian (of @), Tiberius B, Autobahn, untitled (halo), voyeur, Birdfeeder, and Racing Mount Pleasant.

The concert takes place at Phono. Admission: 110 kr + possible fee. Booking is required.
