What can art contribute to the workplace, and how can artistic perspectives create new ways of seeing, thinking and collaborating? This talk explores art's role in both our working lives and society.
The event takes its starting point in Godsbanen's current exhibition Architecture and Space at Kulturdækket, curated by Art at Work. The exhibition investigates how artists through different perspectives, materials, scale and colour choices can challenge our habitual view of space and remind us that we never see the world from a neutral standpoint. In the workplace, art can create spaces for different ways of conversing, challenge the familiar and strengthen community.
Visual artist and songwriter Peter Voss-Knude shares his artistic practice and the work In Love, which is on display in the exhibition. Topics include art's role in society, creativity, perspective shifts and art as a space for reflection and inspiration in times of uncertainty.
