Tender Youth is a young Copenhagen-based art-rock quartet that moves between the raw and the vulnerable. Rooted in post-punk with a focus on new expressions, the band centres the violin and creates intensely immersive songs where energy and fragility intertwine. Following an EP in 2021 and the critically acclaimed debut album In The Hands Of Broken Bonds (2023), Tender Youth has performed at festivals such as Roskilde Festival and SPOT Festival and completed a European tour. This experience has shaped the band into a focused and uncompromising live act that draws audiences into the intensity of the moment. In 2026, Tender Youth will release their second album with guitars abandoned entirely – the violin takes centre stage, and punk urgency meets the emotional depth of folk music in a distinctive blend of hand-played instrumentation, distortion, and modern, pop-leaning production.
Vene is the solo project of Lasse Jensen. After making waves in Copenhagen's experimental and activist underground scene as frontman of post-punk prodigies Echo and Bravo, Jensen ventures into folk with this project. Tracks such as "Kystblomst", "Benrad", and "Af det Fremmede Blod" showcase his characteristic raw, dark vocals, which both contrast with and harmonise with intricate, poetic lyrics addressing an emotional life marked by recurring depression and loss of control. Vene brings together close friends from both the home scene and kindred projects – Tiger, Tomás, Vitus and Noa from Tender Youth and Erstat – whose collective contributions define the project's distinctive sound.
