Trader [support: swash]

Trader presents authentic indie rock, characterized by strong melodies and compelling live energy. Since 2019, the trio has been a vital presence on the Aarhus indie rock scene, building a reputation for both studio prowess and unforgettable performances through their distinctive musical expression.

The band's sound is built around defining elements: gritty guitar layers, thought-provoking melodies, and deep emotional presence. With two albums, two EPs, and numerous concerts across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and beyond, Trader has demonstrated the ability to transform their complex songwriting into uncompromising concert experiences that both shake and provide room for reflection.

In May 2026, the band released the EP "Hoodie," showcasing their evolution through six new tracks. The music explores themes of upheaval, friendship, vulnerability, and finding stability during unpredictable periods—both personally and artistically.

On October 2, 2026, Trader will perform at Radar with material from "Hoodie" and earlier works that make up their powerful catalog. Ticket price: 155 kroner.

Support: Swash

Swash was born in 2017 as a creative experiment in a Copenhagen basement. Today, the project functions as a tightly woven ensemble of four musicians exploring powerful slacker rock under a strong DIY philosophy. Their sound blends skewed, melodic guitars with a weight designed to let energy flow through the room. Inspired by American indie rock from the 1990s, Swash creates an engaging and uncompromising expression that combines melody, distortion, and relentless drive.
