The Troubadour & His Rock Band

Trubaduren & hans Rockband performs Danish-language music with elements of samba, bossa nova, and folk-inspired rock. This six-piece band from Aarhus is known for energetic and entertaining live shows, where laid-back Jutland charm meets moods from Rio and Copenhagen. The band draws inspiration from Nordic artists including Cornelis Vreeswijk, Otto Brandenburg, and Søren Kragh-Jakobsen.

The group has gained cult status on the Danish music scene, played festivals and venues across the country, and released several albums, including 'Det Går Jo Godt' (2018), 'Live fra Ris Ras Filliongongong' (2019), 'At Danse Moderne' (2020), and 'Et Stille Ord', which was released in early spring '25 and was named album of the week on P8 Jazz. The EP 'Den Sidste Turist i Barcelona' is set for release in late summer 2026. The concert takes place at Porter's, Sydhavnen, and admission is 200 kr. A ticket must be purchased/ordered.
