A unique encounter between classical music and contemporary poetry featuring Aarhus Sinfonietta and poet Anne Green Munk. The event takes place in the Reading Hall at the Royal Library of Denmark in Aarhus and consists of two parts: first a conversation with the poet and musicians about creative processes and the work behind the piece, followed by a concert where music and words merge into a unified artistic experience.
The concept emerges from the idea that poetry and music are created in their mutual interaction. The audience is invited to listen in a new way – to discover the rhythmic dimension of language and music as narrative, how the two art forms mirror each other. The concert unfolds as a flowing movement between sound and meaning, without sharp genre boundaries, where significance is experienced both rationally and sensorially.
