After qualification rounds held across East and West Jutland, 20 of the region's most talented young classical musicians gather for a festive finale in Lille Sal at Musikhuset Aarhus. Each participant performs a 7-minute program, and judges from the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium) present various prizes to the winners.
Over the years, many of the event's participants have gone on to become accomplished professional musicians both in Denmark and abroad. The event is the result of close collaboration between the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Musikhuset, and Aarhus Music School.
