Today, the creative community gathers at the Workshop for an inspiring session, where Marbel and Alexsandra guide you through the process of creating beautiful personal notebooks. Using recycled materials from discarded books, you'll find gorgeous papers that come together into unique handmade books.
The Workshop is an open creative space for adults, where you can work on your own projects or participate in guided sessions. You'll have access to various recycled materials (fabric, paper, books and more) and can borrow tools such as sewing machines, printing presses and scissors. If you'd like more inspiration, you can first visit the exhibition at the library with examples of handmade books.
The Workshop is open 3-6 PM and is free to participate in. On the first Thursday of each month, the Workshop collaborates with Repair Café Åbyhøj, where you can also get help repairing clothes and other items.
