A green workshop where you learn to repair and give new life to your favorite pieces of clothing through visible mending. With an introduction to embroidery techniques, you can transform holes, stains, and worn areas into beautiful and personal craftwork – no prior experience needed.
The workshop is organized by Åbyhøj's Green Neighbour Communities and focuses on reducing textile waste, caring for our resources, and experiencing the joy of creating with your own hands. Feel free to bring a piece of clothing that needs some extra care.
Program:
- 15.00: Workshop – Visible mending (Åbyhøj's Green Neighbour Communities)
- 17.30: Vegetarian dinner with legumes served by Åby Library
- Option to stay for Creative Evenings until 21:00
