Experience Aarhus through the Viking Age – a city founded in the earliest Viking period that developed into a trading hub and defensive outpost in the kingdom's network. This guided city walk explores how the city was surrounded by a town wall under Gorm the Old, the role of the ancient mounds, and how Christianity spread through the area.
During the tour you walk approximately 2.5 km through Aarhus and gain insight into the historical layers still visible in the city's streets today. You will also visit the Viking Museum as part of the experience.
