Experience the duo Waterfahl at an intimate concert evening at Resonans in Aarhus. The music flows through roots-pop, light pop, melancholic blues, and folk music – held together by melodic guitar, warm vocals, and harmonica. The duo consists of Finn and Hanne, whose music is characterized by acoustic presence, melodies with edge, and stories from real life.
The concert focuses especially on songs from the album Vandkantet, which contains ten Danish songs about life by and on the edge. The album explores Denmark shaped by water – through songs about storms, harbors, beach walks, fossils, and fishing disasters, where water serves as a golden thread. The audience also meets music from earlier albums featuring characters such as the city hermit, the cheerful single mother, and the stone collector. It all unfolds through stories, warm vocals, and acoustic sounds in the intimate setting of Resonans.
