Every Wednesday, fighting game enthusiasts gather for informal gaming sessions, where the focus is on both improving your skills and meeting people who share your passion. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience level – from complete beginners to tournament players – and newcomers quickly receive an introduction and find someone to play with.
The community plays Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Melee, and Rivals of Aether 2. You can practice your character, play casual matches against others, or get tips from experienced players. Many come for the games, but stay for the social community.
What to bring
A personal controller is strongly recommended. Traditional fighting games are played on PS5 (where you need a native PS5 controller or adapter), while Smash Ultimate is played on Switch and Melee on GameCube/Wii. The community has an adapter and a couple of PS5 controllers to lend, and members are happy to share equipment if you want to try a fightstick, gamepad, or hitbox. However, lack of equipment should not prevent you from joining.
