Zinssou Quartet (DK)

Zinssou Quartet is a Danish jazz quartet distinguished by its unusual instrumentation, with the cello as a central voice. Drawing inspiration from Nordic jazz and classical music to neo-soul and hip-hop, they work deliberately to make advanced music accessible to a wider audience.

An immersive experience
Live, Zinssou Quartet presents cohesive musical narratives where sound, light, spoken word and instruments blend into a cinematic aesthetic. The concerts both challenge and embrace the listener, leaving a sense of depth and musical liberation. As winners of the Jazz Competition, the quartet has already made their mark on the Danish jazz scene, but deliberately refuse to be confined by genre alone.
