Stand-up comedian Søren Ladefoged has never really fit into the boxes he has been expected to squeeze into throughout his life. He has described himself as a Thy native in the big city and a metal head in a poppy reality – and these are exactly the situations where you stand out that he tackles in his first one-man show.
The show won the award for Best Debut Show at UP Comedy Festival 2026. Ladefoged mixes his Thy roots, the feeling of being different and plenty of humour about everything that breaks with the normal – including plums and growing pains. The show is called "A•thy•pisk" with an h, because it is about Thy and where Ladefoged comes from.
