AMDI is a work of contemporary drama based on Rune Skyum-Nielsen’s book, created in collaboration with Thure Lindhardt. The performance explores the myth of Mogens Amdi Petersen, the controversial founder of the Tvind empire, and follows Aksel as he returns to his old theatre, now run by his daughter Eva. There, memories resurface of his friendship with Amdi, Den Rejsende Højskole, grand ideals, and the demands for loyalty that came with them.
