Danish visa singer Bo Evers serves up quirky observations and musical tales of daring, where humour, seriousness and understated charm go hand in hand. He is known for his straightforward language, his distinctive nasal voice and virtuosic fingerpicking on the guitar.
He is currently touring with the album Kvinder og Børn, which includes the radio hits "Story Of My Life" and "Radioavisen". The songs always begin in the same place: Bo Evers alone with his guitar. This applies to both new numbers and old favourites such as the platinum-selling "Fred" and the radio hit "Barry White".
On stage the songs come to life with guitarist Rune Funch, bassist Emil Brun and drummer Mads Andersen. Acoustic and electric instruments meet in a playful interplay, with room for intimacy, energy and spontaneous musical detours.
