Phono presents a concert with Swedish artist Fågelle and Danish act Saltmother. Fågelle works within the Nordic experimental music scene, combining fragile folkloristic passages, orchestral walls of sound, electronic disturbances, and raw, haunting vocals. Following the albums Helvetesdagar (2019) and Den svenska vreden (2023), Bränn min jord (2026) marks a return to Halland, Sweden after years in Berlin and Gothenburg, created together with local musicians, brass orchestras, dancers, and communities.
Saltmother is the solo project of Amanda Appel and offers a concert that moves through music history with influences from medieval ballads, grunge rock, and synthpop. Since 2020, Amanda Appel has made her mark on the Danish experimental scene as part of the vocal group ilinx, released the solo EP Heavy In Baby Blue in 2022, and is now working on her debut album, due in 2026.
The concert takes place at Phono. Admission: 110 kr + possible fee. A ticket must be purchased or ordered in advance.
