FDF Beder-Malling invites you to become part of a volunteer community, where you experience fresh air, good times, and valuable experience – while making a real difference for children and young people. As a young group with many students, the emphasis is placed on community, both among leaders and children. Every Tuesday the group meets for a shared dinner after the day's activities with the children – registration for the meal is free.
FDF is a nationwide children and youth organization that believes children and young people develop best in warm communities under the care of attentive adults. Through play, outdoor life and creative activities, spaces are created where children and young people find courage, self-confidence and recognize their own worth – regardless of background.
You do not need previous FDF experience, prior knowledge or pedagogical background – you simply need to want to give children and young people good memories. The team of dedicated adults plans and carries out activities together, and new leaders are fully supported from day one. You decide the scope yourself: some contribute weekly, others help with individual activities or provide support in between. Flexibility is essential, especially during exams or internships – but it also matters to try something completely different once in a while; something hands-on, something that brings joy and community.
