Aarhus Symphony Orchestra presents the after-work concert The Sound of Devotion, with the viola at the center of the program. The concert features Paul Hindemith's Der Schwanendreher, 3rd movement, with soloist Nicholas Swensen on viola, as well as selections from Antonín Dvorák's Symphony No. 7, 2nd, 3rd and 4th movements, and Ludwig van Beethoven's Die Weihe des Hauses. The concert is conducted by Erik Nielsen and hosted by Matthias von Niessen.
The event lasts under an hour and begins with a short introduction from the stage. Beer, wine and water can be purchased. Venue: Musikhuset Aarhus. Admission: 100-185 kr. Ticket purchase/booking is required.
