This edition of the CREA workshop focuses on the brain, asking questions such as what a brain is, what it looks like, whether our thoughts can be seen, and whether they can be drawn. The week serves as a warm-up to the Hearts & Minds festival, and participants explore ideas, materials, and techniques in a creative workshop space shaped by curiosity, imagination, and the joy of making.
Participants will cut, paint, shape, glue, print, draw, and experiment with materials including cardboard, natural materials, paint, textiles, and quirky recycled items. The workshop changes theme from week to week, and the materials are largely recycled. The event is for children and their adults regardless of experience, and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Free tickets are available, and the workshop takes place at Dokk1/Aarhus Hovedbibliotek.
