Bachelor degree project by Caroline Gelardi. We meet Lily, a student in grade 9a at Paradisgården School in a suburban universe, where girls are babygirls and boys ride mopeds. Lily dreams of being chosen by Adam, but in her struggle to live up to her environment's expectations, she slowly loses herself. The more she tries to meet Adam's demands, the more the monster inside her grows.
LILY is a modern interpretation of the Lilith myth – Adam's first wife, who refused to accept subordination and chose to leave the Garden of Eden. The performance explores identity, social pressure, and resistance to norms through an intense and provocative narrative.
