Pandemonium (or Dreaming of Paradise) is a wordless music-dramatic performance about two thralls working deep underground under the rule of a brutal tyrant. In a closed and dark universe, a hidden secret begins to grow, and when it is finally revealed, it triggers an inevitable revolution.
The performance brings together newly composed chamber music, physical theatre, puppets, and film in a sensory total work of art. Its themes revolve around structures of power, the fragility of hope, and the dream of another world.
