A unique combination of walking tours, literature, and dog exercise! Meet in front of Bavnehøj Library for a pleasant walk of approximately 2.5 kilometers at a comfortable pace. Along the way, you will pause to enjoy short text excerpts about animals, read aloud by the library's facilitator. The tour concludes back at the library with hot coffee and dog treats.
The event adapts the readings to the dogs' attention spans – if your four-legged friend prefers to sniff around instead of listening to literature, that is perfectly fine. You are also welcome to participate without a dog and simply enjoy a cozy walk with both canine charm and cultural entertainment.
Remember to dress practically for the weather, bring a dog leash and waste bags. The event is free, but booking is required so the organizers have an overview of the number of two- and four-legged participants. One ticket is required per person – dogs participate free of charge.
