Denmark's most successful racing driver, Tom Kristensen, is an international legend in the world of motorsport. With nine victories at the prestigious Le Mans race, he has set the standard for what dedication, teamwork and determination can achieve. Now he takes the stage together with Josefine Høgh to look back on a career that is anything but ordinary.
The evening promises candid stories about the road to the top, the many triumphs and the unavoidable defeats. Tom also shares reflections, emotions and anecdotes, and offers his view on the future of motorsport, a sport he loves and has left a clear mark on.
The story begins at a petrol station in Hobro, where Tom was born with petrol in his blood. His father, Carl Erik Kristensen, was a racing driver himself and gave him his first go-kart. Already as a child Tom showed talent, and in 1978 he drove his first world championship in minipop.
