Teater Fluks invites you into a multisensory artistic experience that merges opera, electronic soundscapes, movement, and performative gestures. Drawing inspiration from sculptor Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen's materials—clay, wax, plaster, and bronze—the ensemble creates a series of live performances and evolving sound works that unfold across the exhibition period.
The first installment, The Sound of Clay, premieres on August 29 at 2 p.m. as part of the opening of the exhibition The Living Clay—Studio with Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen. This work is developed in collaboration with Den Jyske Opera and introduces the project to audiences.
As the exhibition continues, new sonic pieces are added to an expanding live sound archive, with each addition marked by a performative moment from Teater Fluks within the space. The cycle continues with three further performances:
- The Sound of Plaster – September 11 at 3 p.m.
- The Sound of Wax – September 24 at 4 p.m.
- The Sound of Bronze – October 7 at 4 p.m.
All events take place in Rå Hal at Godsbanen and admission is free. Teater Fluks' sound works form an integral part of the larger exhibition programme dedicated to Carl-Nielsen's artistic legacy.
